The restoration of the farmhouse has been lovingly carried out over the last few years. The original structure of the old farmhouse has been retained resulting in large bedrooms, where once whole families slept, and generous communal rooms. The finishes are the same as those used in times gone past, terracotta, wood and local stone. The affect is a beautiful cozy, authentic farmhouse, transporting you back in time. There are 9 double bedrooms, 9 bathrooms with showers, 1 large dining room with a traditional fireplace, 2 well equipped kitchens and, in the old stable block, a wonderful arched room for dining or relaxing together.

Tuscany is a place where you can combine an appreciation for art and peace of mind with your desires for good food and wine. You are offered the chance to taste delicious recipes through the lessons in the local cuisine. The owner Maria Teresa loves to share her culinary expertise, and helps you prepare great dishes, based on the fresh ingredients you easily find in shops and open-air markets nearby. The Tuscan cuisine is an ancient and skilled cuisine made up of tasty ingredients and never excessively elaborate…easily duplicated at home!

Thanks to its positioning in the region, the area is particularly suited for short tours – there is so much to experience right in your backyard. Guided visits are available to the places that genuinely interest you, such as: nearby medieval hilltop villages, medieval churches of the Florence area, cheese and wine tours, renaissance art between Siena and Florence.

This is a perfect location for families, or special interest groups or corporate travellers to visit - your group will have the entire farmhouse to yourselves for the entire week. Group events, workshops or seminars, such as corporate team-building, yoga, dance, photography, painting, fresco painting and music can be accommodated (and even arranged with local artist instruction or participation) in the beautiful studio in the restored barn.

The Chianti region offers picture-book rural scenery, from fields of sunflowers to rows of ubiquitous pencil pines in the hazy distance. With a splendid view over to the towers of San Gimignano - smaller towns such as Radda in Chianti, Monteriggioni & Volterra are also all an easy drive away, offering unforgettable atmosphere & scenery.
