You are welcome to visit the local wine cooperative
in nearby St. Gervais, a 5-minute drive from the
market. It’s a good idea to arrive before
12 noon or between 2-7 pm, because the sacred hour
of the French lunch is from noon-2 pm. There are
many good local specialties and an excellent bar
for tasting of the 15 wines produced by this surprisingly
good coop.
The afternoon is free to explore the grounds & the
area or to venture further a field to find that
great little ‘gem’ for dinner –
if you want to.
If you’d rather stay closer to home, Les
Tuillières offers table d'hôte dining
from Mondays through Fridays and you are welcome
to partake. The price for dinner with apéritif
and wines included is 34 Euros/person (this is not included in your tour price).
