Safari Notes – Testimonial.

I loved my experience at Les Tuillieres and would love to go back for the second part of the course. I found out about the program thru an adventure travel group based in Vancouver-I was deciding between a safari and a cooking class vacation for my 40th birthday at the time and finally the cooking class won out. I loved the fact it was small-well actually very small since I was the only student at the time! and the fact it was in a small village-it looked like I would get lots of practical knowledge and I did. Susan and Herman are excellent hosts and teachers-the accommodation are more than fine and the food and wine of course excellent. I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone who really wants to learn about Provencal cooking. Believe me-I am quite picky when it comes to food and accommodations-so this is not just an easy recommendation from me. My routing was quite something-Mtl to Charles de Gaulle. Train from Charles the Gaule to a city I forget the name of -another train from there and then I was picked up at the station about 45 minutes away by Herman in his car-I think there must be a better way to get there but at the time I did not know-however the trains were more than fine and the stations very modern and safe. Let's just say that even if I had to do the same route again I would not hesitate to do so. The excursions are perfect and the chance of meeting guests from around the world is great-truly a class act-and very, very reasonably priced for what you get.
Let me know if you need more info-I would also be glad to speak to anyone who is thinking of going there.
